"This Is My Night" Gains the First Rank in the 21st Theatrical Forum at Tanta University
  Prof. Ibrahim Abdel Wahab Salem, Acting President of Tanta University, attended the closing ceremony of the 21st theatrical forum of University students in Student Activities Theater in the building of old Faculty of Arts where the play "This is my Night" was presented. It is written by Mustafa Murad, directed by Mohammed Figl and performed by Faculty of Law. It gained the first rank. The play "Bey" written and directed by Akram Taher from Faculty of Arts gained the second rank. The play "Tell me, King" written by Fathi Fadl and directed by Islam Ismael from Faculty of Commerce won the third rank. At the end of the celebration, Prof. Ibrahim Salem distributed in-kind and appreciation prizes of the best actor award that Amro Seyam from Faculty of Engineering won. Soheila Al-Anwar from Faculty of Dentistry won the title of the best actress. Moreover, the first rank in theatrical directing was gained by Mohammed Figl for the performance presented by Faculty of Law and the best décor award was given to Akram Taher for the performance presented by Faculty of Arts. Judgment committee headed by Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, Professor of Acting at Academy of Arts, with membership of Prof. Azza Al-Malt, Lecturer at Department of Theater at Faculty of Specific Education, and Mr. Tarek Ammar, Critic and Theatrical Author, granted special award to Marium Nasr from Faculty of Engineering for the best theatrical writing and to Mohammed Al-Sherbini from Faculty of Commerce for the best theatrical preparation. Furthermore, the team of Faculty of Physical Education got the best movement design award and Amir Kadri from Faculty of Arts won the best illumination award. The closing ceremony was attended by Prof. Al-Sayed Mazro', Dean of Faculty of Specific Education and Consultant of University Art Committee; Prof. Mohammed Ibrahim, Dean of Faculty of Law; Prof. Khaled Al-Fakharani, Acting Dean of Faculty of Arts; Prof. Nahla Al-Ashmawi, Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy; and a number of vice deans of faculties, teaching staff members, employees and students.
