Tanta University President Receives Head of Nursing Syndicate in Egypt
  Prof. Ibrahim Abdel Wahab Salem, Acting President of Tanta University, received today morning Dr. Kawthar Mahmoud, Head of Egyptian Nursing Syndicate and Undersecretary of Ministry of Health for Nursing Affairs, to check nursing conditions at University hospitals, reception and emergency units, and to discuss the plans for improving the status of nursing staff and developing medical service during the following period. Prof. Ibrahim Salem has indicated that the meeting comes out of the belief in sanctity of the profession of nursing as it is an ethical and scientific profession. He has asserted his complete support for the nursing staff that is one of the bases leading to success of the medical system that characterizes the University in addition to creating an appropriate atmosphere which ensures providing the best medical service to patients. For her part, Dr. Kawthar Mahmoud has added that nursing is a human mission in the first place not just a profession because nursing has an important role in patient's medical care confirming that making ideal performance in nursing comes as a results of cooperation of all staff. The meeting was attended by Prof. Amgad Abdel Raouf, Dean of Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Administration Board of University Hospitals; Prof. Gamal Mosa, Manager of the Education Hospital; and Mr. Ahmed Rashad, Secretary General of the University.
