In the light of the efforts exerted by Tanta University to solve all problems facing students, a Social Solidarity Fund was established as one of the special funds to achieve the following objectives:
• Achieving social solidarity for students in its different forms as for insurance and social care
• Taking part in implementation of student services.
• Seeking to solve students’ problems that prevent them from quietly continuing their study.

Procedures to Get Financial Aid from the Fund

  • • A student must go to Youth Welfare specialist atYouth Welfare Administration atthe faculty in order to get a letter addressed to the social unit which the student is affiliated to.
    • A student submits the social report. Attached to it is a ratified statement that shows the family’s income; a salary statement, pension elements, agricultural possession paper, an administrative report in case of business.
    • A student must present a petition to University Vice President for Education and Student Affairs so that he or she can get the financial aid.
