Cooperation with Authorities


In the Context of Cooperation with Other Authorities:

  •   Participation in the cooperation protocol among Tanta University, Zagazig University, Al-Mansoura University, Benha University, Kafr El-Sheikh University and Delta University for Information and Technology.

  • A cooperation protocol between Tanta University and the Egyptian Assembly of Young Businessmen was signed to establish a professional training center and improve University students skills, raise their scientific level, prepare them for Labor market demands and enable them to get a good new job opportunity. In addition, the protocol helps to raise the ethical, social and intellectual level of University students.

  • A cooperation protocol between Nahdet El-Mahrousa Assembly and the Supreme Council of Universities has been signed. Four graduation projects, belonging to students from Tanta University, Faculty of Engineering, have won financial prizes of six thousand pounds for each project as part of Young Inventor Prizes program at Nahdet El-Mahrousa Assembly.

  • A cooperation protocol, between Tanta University and General Authority for Literacy and Adult Education in Al-Gharbia governorate, was signed on January 2, 2010 to assure the principle of social participation in national projects.

  • A cooperation protocol was signed on April 1, 2010, between the University and the People's local Council of Al-Gharbia governorate in the field of environment, through organizing training courses. The purpose of these courses was training governorate youth through faculties and units of the University as well as service centers specialized in various fields.

  • The University has recommended giving grants to Nile Valley countries, through allocating scholarships and missions to students in bachelor and postgraduate stages. Due attention should be given to specializations of Water and Irrigation, Hydraulics, Geology, Electrical Power, Mechanical Power and Water Pollution and Tropical Diseases.

  • Participation with a worksheet and suggestion in activities of meeting held for discussing the five-year plan of the Environmental affairs Body of governmental authorities (2012- 2017) at the regional branch of Environmental affairs Body in Tanta on Monday, January 3, 2011.

  • A cooperation protocol was signed between Tanta University and the Directorate of Social Affairs. It was about preparation, organization and following up the work of medical and guiding convoys in addition to conducting field researches on villages and provinces deprived of health care, in coordination with Gharbia governorate on Wednesday, November 23, 2011.

  • A cooperation protocol was signed between Tanta University and the Directorate of Agriculture on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 in order to present all required help to achieve fruitful cooperation with Community Service and Environmental Development Sector in Gharbia governorate.

  • A cooperation protocol was signed between Tanta University and the Gharbia governorate in 2012 to carry out the consultation tasks that are assigned to Gharbia governorate and to implement the projects and studies needed by the governorate or its affiliated units.

  • In the framework of activating the cooperation protocol between Tanta University and Egyptian Junior Business Association (EJB), about 12522 Tanta University students were trained in communication skills, success philosophy, creative thinking, marketing, establishment of minor projects, etc. In addition, four acquaintance camps and three cultural saloons where lectures were given by Prof. Mustafa Hegazi, Prof. Selim Al-Awa and the poet\ Hesham Al-Gakh at different University faculties from January 1, 2011 to December 31, 2011.

  • Under patronage of the Counselor\ Mohammed Abdel Kader Abdullah, Gharbia governorate, and Prof. Abdel Hakim Abdel Khalek Khalil, Tanta University President, a cooperation protocol was signed between Tanta University and the Gharbia governorate in 2011 to carry out the consultation tasks that are assigned to Gharbia governorate and to implement the projects and studies needed by the governorate or its affiliated units.

In the Context of Cooperation with University Faculties and University Hospitals:

  • An agreement has been reached between Faculty of Dentistry and the Administration of Tanta University Hospitals to burn the Facultys medical waste, which results from treatment, daily in a scientific and safe way.

  • An electronic program has been created for Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Science and Faculty of Education to register graduates data in different companies, bodies and institutions on the governorate level.

  • A student service compound has been established at the medical campus and Seperbay Campus where all products needed by students are presented via major companies. These companies show their products inside different campuses.

  • A site on the University network has been created for all centres and special unites to make propaganda about these centres to inform the external society with the offered activities.

  • A database of the University centres and special units has been established.

  • A hall has been allocated for the health club to be one of public service centres at Faculty of Arts.

  • Work has been activated at the bookshop affiliated to the public service centre at Faculty of Arts.

  • The Physical Medicine Unit has been inaugurated at "The Physical Medicine, Neurology and Neurosurgery centre". This unit is considered A unit equipped to receive patients who suffer from: Paraplegia, lumbar and cervical spondylolisthesis, different rheumatic diseases, seventh nerve palsy, cases of cerebral palsy and postpartum disjoint and cases of obesity.
