  • A symposium, about Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) for students of Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Nursing and Information Network, was held on January 27, 2010


  • A symposium, about nuclear power in Egypt between sustainable development and environmental effects, was held in seminar room at Faculty of Science, on Saturday March 20, 2010 under the patronage of University President.


  • A symposium entitled Population Problems and their Economic and Environmental Challenges was held at Faculty of Arts, Geography Department (graduation project for class 2010). The symposium was held in Conferences Center on Saturday, May 8, 2010 under the patronage of University President and Faculty of Arts Dean.


  • The Seventh Scientific Symposium for Department of Educational Foundations was held under the title Strategic Planning in Higher Education on Tuesday, May 11, 2010.


  • A symposium about history and achievements of nursing was held, on the International Nurses Day. It was at Faculty of Nursing on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 under the patronage of University President.


  • In cooperation with Environment Affairs Body, the regional branch of Middle Delta and Environmental Development Sector, a symposium was held at Faculty of Pharmacy on Thursday October 28, 2010 and at Faculty of Science on Monday November 8, 2010 at the seminar hall in Chemistry building. The symposium was entitled "Recycling Agricultural Waste and Utilizing it," under the patronage of University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development. The symposium recommended that it is possible to train and appoint Faculty of Science graduates in Ministry of Environmental Affairs and in projects of The Egyptian Company for Recycling Waste (ECRW). In addition, it is possible to give courses to students, during the summer holiday, on how to recycle waste and make use of it.


  • At Faculty of Education, Tanta University, Department of Foreign Languages, a symposium was held under the title "The Centennial Celebration of the Great Egyptian Author Naguib Mahfouz." It was under the patronage of University President and University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development.


  • Faculty of Dentistry held a symposium entitled "First Aids," under the patronage of University President and University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development. The symposium was held at the Facultys Conferences Center on Tuesday and Wednesday November 30 and December 1, 2010.


  • "The Communication Forum between Faculty of Medicine and the Civil Society" was held on Sunday, December 12, 2010 at the Conference Center of Tanta University, Faculty of Medicine. It was under the patronage of University President and University Vice Presidents. The forum was attended by a great group of University leaders, Health Ministry Undersecretary at Al-Al-Gharbia governorate, Chairman of Environmental Affairs Body in Middle Delta, the representative of the Egyptian Medical Syndicate, Head of The Peoples Local Council in Al-Gharbia Governorate, Ministry of Social Solidarity Undersecretary as well as representatives of civil society such as Managers of Health Ministry Hospitals, Health Insurance and private hospitals. Manager of 'National Center for Faculty and Leadership Development (NCFLD)' gave a lecture about "Education and Learning Issues and the Civil Society," to find out the civil society's opinion and the degree of its satisfaction about medical education. The forum recommended that these meetings should increase and new solutions should be found to overcome the problems facing doctors. In addition, it recommended field training for students and a study program.


  • At the 'Environmental Affairs Body,' a symposium was held to make an opinion survey of different governmental authorities in Middle Delta governorates; Al-Gharbia, Al-Menoufia and Kafr El-Sheikh. The opinion poll was about the five-year plan; 2012 to 2017. The symposium was held at the regional branch of Middle Delta on Monday, January 3, 2011 under the title Vision and Dimensions. This five-year plan should be integrated with its counterpart plans of social and economic development in Egypt. The Sector of Community Service and Environmental Development at Tanta University took part in the activities of this symposium, represented by University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development.


  • A symposium was held at Conference Center at Tanta University, Faculty of Medicine on Thursday, January 6, 2011. The symposium was entitled The Latest Findings in Parkinson's Disease. It was under the patronage of University President and University Vice president for Community Service and Environmental Development. In addition, this symposium was organized by the Egyptian Assembly for Parkinson's Patients Care in Al-Gharbia at the Faculty, in the occasion of hosting the Dutch expert in neurosurgery, Prof. Johannes Spelman.


  • A symposium entitled Keys to Success was held at Faculty of Engineering on Thursday, January 6, 2011. The symposium was under the patronage of University President and Vice president for Community Service and Environmental Development. It was attended by students, teaching staff members and Faculty employees.


  • A symposium about addiction was held at Forensic and Medical Consultation Center on Sunday November 28, 2010. It was entitled Addiction, its Effect, Diagnosis and Legal Consequences.


  • A symposium was held at Faculty of Nursing on Tuesday, April 6, 2011 under the patronage of University President, University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Faculty Dean and Faculty Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development. The symposium was entitled Domestic Violence and its Effect on Society. Prof. Khalid Al-Fakharany, Head of Psychology Department at Faculty of Arts, Tanta University, Prof. Ehab Ramadan; an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Neurology at Faculty of Medicine, Tanta University, participated in the symposium. In addition, different faculties Vice Deans for Community Service and Environmental Development at the University, teaching staff members, assistant staff and Faculty students attended the symposium.


  • A symposium was held by Faculty of Arts under the patronage of the Sector of Community Service and Environmental Development on Tuesday, April 19, 2011. The symposium was entitled Water in the Holy Qur`an. Prof. Zaghlol Al-Naggar was the guest of the symposium. He spoke about the miraculous aspects of Qur`an, especially the scientific miraculous aspects. The symposium was attended by the Faculty Dean and Prof. Mohammed Hasan Al-Hefnawy, Head of the Basics of Islamic Jurisprudence Department at Al-Azhar University, Tanta branch.


  • A symposium was held by Faculty of Arts on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at twelve oclock, under the patronage of the Sector of Community Service and Environmental Development at the Faculty. The symposium was entitled Awake the Giant inside You: a Vision about Self-development. Prof. Mohammed Al-sayed Mansour, a Lecturer at the Faculty Department of Psychology, was a guest of the symposium.


  • A symposium was held at Faculty of Arts on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 under the patronage of Prof. Hala Ahmed Fouad Ismael; University President, and Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Daboun, University Vice president for Community Service and Environmental Development. It was entitled Where Does Egypt Go? During this symposium Prof. Mohammed Selim Al-Awa gave a lecture. It was presented by Prof. Mohammed Galaa Edris, Head of Arabic Language Department and honorably attended by Prof. Zein Al-Din Al-Khatib, the Faculty Dean.


  • There has been a preparation for holding three symposiums about first aids and civil defense, in cooperation with Military Service Administration at the University during July. They are held for summer training students at the Medical Campus, Faculty of Commerce, Seperbay Campus in cooperation with the Sector of Community Service and Environmental Development at Faculty of Nursing.


  • A symposium was held at Faculty of Arts on Thursday, May 26, 2011 under the patronage of Prof. Hala Ahmed Foad Ismael; University President and Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Daboun, University Vice president for Community Service and Environmental Development. It was entitled How do you Care about Alzheimer Patient? The symposium was supervised by Dr. Mohammed Al-Sayed Mansour and attended by Prof. Khalid Al-Fakharani; Head of Psychology Department.


  • A symposium was held at Faculty of Science on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 under the patronage of Prof. Hala Ahmed Foad Ismael, University President and Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Daboun, University Vice president for Community Service and Environmental Development. It was entitled The Climatic Changes on Egyptian Coasts and what are the means of defense that should be applied to face these changes? Prof. Khalid Abdel Kader Ouda, Professor of Fossils and Layers at Faculty of Science, Assiut University, gave a lecture in this symposium.


  • The International Nurses Day was celebrated at Faculty of Nursing on May 23, 2011 under the patronage of Prof. Hala Ahmed Fouad Ismael, University President, Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Daboun, University Vice president for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Helmi Hamad Shalabi, the Faculty Dean and Prof. Nahed Mohammed Ahmed Morsy, Manager of Services Center at Tanta University faculties.


  • Under the patronage of University President and Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Daboun, University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, a series of symposiums were held in cooperation with the University Military Service Administration and Faculty of Nursing. The symposiums were about first aids and civil defense. They were held for University students in the central auditorium at the Medical Campus and in workshops auditorium at Faculty of Engineering, Seberbay Campus. These symposiums were held according to an approval from the Council of Community Service and Environmental Development in its session held on June 19, 2011. Prof. Amal Al-Zeftawy, a Lecturer at Faculty of Nursing and Prof. Om Ibrahim Ali Al-Meligi, a Lecturer at Faculty of Nursing, shed light on the importance of first aids, kinds of fractures and burns, causes of poisoning and Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). In addition, these symposiums were under the patronage of Nahed Mohammed Ahmed Morsy, Faculty of Nursing Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.


  • Under the patronage of University President and Prof. Mohammed Ahmed Daboun, University Vice president for Community Service and Environmental Development, a symposium entitled Rice Straw Recycling" was held at Tanta University, Faculty of Engineering on Wednesday, July 20, 2011. Guests of the symposium were Prof. Helmy Al-Sayed Gad, Prof. Alam Al-Din Mohammed Al-Bastawisy and Mr. Ahmed Hussein; Media Director General of Tanta branch.


  • Under patronage of University President and University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, a symposium entitled "Self Development and Abilities Discovery" was held at Tanta University, Faculty of Science on Tuesday, October, 18, 2011. At this symposium, lectures were given by the international trainer Mr. Ahmed Kamal Al-Din, Training Manager at the International Experience House of Training, Consultation and Community Service.


  • ? Under patronage of University President, University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development and under supervision of Faculty of Arts Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, a symposium entitled "The Egyptian Scene before Parliamentary Elections" was held. At this Symposium, a lecture was given by Counselor\ Tahani Al-Gebali, Deputy Head of the Supreme Constitutional Court on Wednesday, October 19, 2011.


  • Under patronage of University President and University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, a symposium was organized celebrating glorious October anniversary under the title "War and Peace" in the central auditorium at the medical campus on Saturday, October 22, 201. At this symposium, Major General Staff\ Mohammed Nagati Ibrahim gave a lecture.


  • Under patronage of University President and University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at Faculty of Science organized a symposium about "Human Development and Personal Skills Development" on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 where a lecture was given by Mr. Abdel Monem Al-Refaee Sharaf Al-Din, human development and personal skills development expert at Prof. Ibrahim Al-Feqi group and member of the Arab Foundation.


  • Under patronage of University President and University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Community Service and Environmental Development Sector organized a symposium about "The Egyptian Elections Towards a Patriot and Political Culture" on Sunday, December 4 where lectures were given by Mr. Tarek Beltagi, human rights activist at the American University, Mr. Ahmed Mustafa, Chief of political division in Al-Youm Al-Sabee newspaper and a journalist, and Mr. Ahmed Atwan, Chief of governorates division in Al-Youm Al-Sabee newspaper.


  • Under patronage of University President and University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at Faculty of Education held a series of symposiums about political and environmental awareness. Examples of these symposiums are:


    • A religious symposium entitled "Moderation of Islam and role of Al-Azhar in Current Affairs" at Faculty of Education on Thursday, December 8, 2011 where a lecture was given by Dr. Eman Al-Weshahi, the Islamic preacher.


    • A symposium about "Study Skills" at Faculty of Education where Dr. Rabab Al-Kilani gave a lecture on Monday, December 19, 2011.


    • A political informative symposium about "Observation and Human Rights in the light of the Parliamentary Elections" where lectures were given by Mr. Ahmed Atwan, a journalist and political analyst, Mr. Al-Dandarawi Al-Hawari, the Chief Editor of A-Youm Al-Sabee newspaper and Mr. Tarek Beltagi, a lecturer of human rights.


  • Under patronage of University President and University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, a series of symposiums was held at Faculty of Science, Tanta University in cooperation between Community Service Sector and the Faculty Quality Unit. These symposiums were as follows:


    • A symposium under the title "Dyeing and Printing on Textiles" on Monday, November 21, 2011 where an elite group of chemists from Misr Spinning and Weaving Company in Al-Mahalla Al-Kubra. They are Dr. Al-Sayed Abdel Wahed Ahmed, Dr. Ahmed Youssef Al-Shohari and Dr. Mohammed Shaaban Al-Ganayni.


    • A symposium entitled "The required Skills for work in Mines" on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Faculty of Science where a lecture was given by Geologist\ Mohammed Al-Behari, a geologist at Al-Sokari mine of gold.


    • A symposium entitled "Gold Extraction Steps from Beginning of Prospecting until the Trade Process" on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 where a lecture was given by Mr. Mohammed Al-Behari, a geologist at Al-Sokari mine in Al-Pharaeen Company.


    • A symposium entitled "How to Manage Time and To Utilize it" on Sunday, November 27, 2011 at Faculty of Science where a lecture was given by Dr. Nahla Al-Sayed Al-Shazli, Assistant Professor at the Faculty.


  • Under patronage of University President and University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, a symposium entitled "The Relation between Monuments and History and the Role of Monuments in Investigating Current Affairs" was organized at Faculty of Arts in cooperation between Community Service Sector and the Faculty Archeology Department on Monday, December 5, 2011where a lecture was given by Prof. Mohammed Hamza Al-Hadad, Faculty of Archeology Dean, Cairo University.


  • Under patronage of University President and University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, an informative symposium was organized at Faculty of Physical Education under supervision of Community Service and Environmental Development Sector. It was entitled "The Voting System for Selecting Political Leaders in the Parliamentary Elections" on Thursday, December 29, 2011where a lecture was given by Mr. Samah Sayed Wahbi.


  • Under patronage of University President and University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, a symposium entitled "A Strategic Vision of Managing the Current Crisis" was organized on Monday, March 12, 2012 at Faculty of Commerce where Prof. Saad Al-Zont, an expert and professor of strategic planning and crises management at the Police Academy.


  • Under patronage of University President and University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, a symposium will be held under the title "The Role of Media in Transition to Democracy" on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at Faculty of Specific Education at twelve o'clock in auditorium (2) where a lecture was given by Prof. Hasan Abu Taleb, Manager of Al-Aharam Regional Press Institute.


  • Under patronage of University President and University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, a symposium will be organized under the title "The Power of Human Energy" on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at Faculty of Science.


  • Under patronage of University President and University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, a media symposium was organized by Nile Centre for Media and Training in cooperation with Faculty of Education on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Faculty of Education building at 11a.m. The symposium was entitled "The New Constitution and the Criteria of Choosing the President" and attended by the Counselor\ Tahani Al-Gebali, Deputy Head of the Supreme Constitutional Court.


  • Under patronage of University President and University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, a symposium entitled "The Egyptian Revolution and National Independence" was organized on Sunday, April 8, 2012 at noon in auditorium (1), the Seminar Hall, at Faculty of Engineering where a lecture was given by Eng. Mohammed Esmat Seif Al-Dawla, an expert of Arab and Palestinian affairs.


  • Under patronage of University President and University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, a symposium was organized under the title "Ethics of Scientific Researches and their Applications in Community Service" on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 in the medical Campus at Faculty of Science, Tanta University where lectures were given by Prof. Magid Mustafa Al-Sherbini, Chairman of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, the great scientist Prof. Ibrahim Badran, the former Health Minister, Prof. Khaled Al-Gendy, the Islamic preacher, Prof. Alaa Ismail, Head of Ethics Unit at Ain-Shams University and Prof. Abdel Magid Qasem, Professor at Faculty of Medicine and Chief of Publishing Unit at the Academy of Scientific Research.


  • Under patronage of University President and University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, a symposium was organized under the title "The Egyptian Revolution and the National Independence" on Monday, April 19, 2012.


  • Under patronage of University President and University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, a symposium entitled "Your Constitution, Egyptian" was held in cooperation between Tanta University and Alexandria University on Thursday, April 26, 2012. It was attended by Prof. Ismail Serag Al-Din.


  • Under patronage of University President and University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, a symposium was held under the title "Reality and Future of Press in Egypt". It was attended by the journalist, Mr. Fayad, Chief Editor Akhbar Al-Youm newspaper in addition to an elite group of media personnel on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Faculty of Arts building in Seperbay Campus.


  • Under patronage of University President and University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, a symposium was held under the title "The Professional and Patriot Role of the Engineering Syndicate" on Thursday, May 17, 2012 in the Seminar Hall at the Faculty.
