Tanta University Conducts Medical Examination to 1700 Cases from Segin Al-Kom Village

 

   On Tuesday, Tanta University organized a medical and environmental convoy to Segin Al-Kom village subordinate to Kotor district in Gharbia governorate under auspices of Prof. Magdi Sab', University President, and Prof. 'Emad 'Etman, University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development.

   During the convoy, medical examination was conducted to 1700 patients from the village in different medical specialties and medicaments were distributed to them for free in completion of the role played by the University in community service and environmental development in cooperation with executive bodies in Gharbia governorate namely Kotor Town Council, Educational Directorate, Health Affairs Directorate, Social Solidarity Directorate, Veterinary Medicine Directorate, and Middle Delta Environmental Affairs Agency.

   For his part, Prof. 'Emad 'Etman expressed his appreciation to SEDICO Pharmaceutical Company for their participation in the convoy by providing free samples of medicaments to patients from the village.

   Prof. Ahmed Zaki Mansour, Full Professor at Tanta Faculty of Education, took part in the convoy as well as Prof. Sahar Hazza, Vice Dean of Tanta Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Yasser Abdel Rahim Bayoumi, Vice Dean of Tanta Faculty of Education for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Sahar Al-Haggar, Vice Dean of Tanta Faculty of Pharmacy for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Mr. Mohammed Ghazy, General Manager of Environmental Projects at the University.
