With Participation of Delegations from 13 Universities, Tanta University Inaugurates the 31st Apical Scout Tournament

Prof. Mohammed Hussein, Vice President of Tanta University for Education and Student Affairs, inaugurated the 31st Apical Scout Tournament that is held in the period from February 3rd to 12th, 2024, at Sibirbay Campus in attendance of Prof. Magdy Wakwak, Dean of Faculty of Physical Education and General Coordinator of Student Activities; and delegations from 13 Egyptian universities.

In the speech he delivered, Prof. Mohamed Hussein welcomed the delegations participating in the scout tournament highlighting the significance of this apical tournament where students practice all activities in 7 different areas including cultural, artistic, sports, religious, social, and scout ones. In addition, he declared that the apical competition aims to develop youth’s abilities in the bodily, mental, social, and spiritual aspects.

Moreover, University Vice President added that the university has finished all the preparations to hold the apical tournament. He commended the performance of students regarding self-reliance, cooperation, and exchange of knowledge among participant students.

Prof. Madgy Wakwak asserted that student activities play a pivotal role in forming students’ personality and enhancing national awareness. He thanked all participants from Egyptian universities.
