As Appreciation for their Efforts in Saving a Female Student’s Life and Her New-Born Infant, Vice President of Tanta University Honors the Medical Team Who Assisted the Delivery inside an Equipped Ambulance

Prof. Mohammed Hussein, Vice President of Tanta University for Education and Student Affairs, honored the medical team from the Medical Administration at Sibirbay Campus that is headed by Dr. Amr Abdul Mun’em, for their efforts in helping a female student, registered in the third class at Faculty of Law, who was about to give birth half an hour before the start of the exam last Wednesday.

Prof. Mohammed Hussein commended the role of the medical team who moved to the faculty at once and after examination, they called an ambulance to transfer her to the hospital. But before reaching the hospital, the student was already giving birth, so the medical team conducted the delivery successfully inside the equipped ambulance. The student and her baby were transferred to the hospital to check on their condition. She took her exam in a private committee out of keenness of the university on her academic future.

The medical team included Nurse\ Amal Abdul Aty Salama, Nurse\ Dalia Mahmoud Abu Sareyya, Nurse\ Samasem Abdul Mohsen Abdu, the Medic\ Mohammed Shawqy, and the ambulance driver\ Ahmed Al-Afandy.
