Prof. Magdi Abdel Raouf Sab', Tanta University President, announced today the approval of Gharbia Governor, MG Ahmed Deif Sakr, for allocating an area of land on the road to Shebin in order to establish teaching staff’s club.

It is worth noting that as soon as he assumed post, Tanta University President found out that the building of teaching staff’s club located in Seperbay campus is not licensed and is illegal with no decree for allocating its land and that the papers of the club are about the previous headquarters that was established on Al-Bahr St. and which was demolished not the current building.

Prof. Sab' denied that there is conflict between him and members of the club indicating, “The legal advice of the general assembly of departments of Fatwa and Legislation at State Council is applied in the light of University keenness on and respect of supremacy of law and teaching staff’s good and rights as we respect and appreciate them and their rights won’t be violated in any case.”
