The Environmental Forum of Tanta Faculty of Science Starts

Faculty of Science at Tanta University organized the environmental forum 2023 under the slogan “Climatic Changes and Methods of Control”. The forum is held under patronage of Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, University President, in attendance of Prof. Mahmoud Salim, University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Kamal Okasha, University Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Tarek Mustafa, Dean of Faculty of Science; and Prof. Nehal Atef, Faculty Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

    Prof. Mahmoud Salim affirmed that the forum is organized in implementation of the instructions given by Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, University President, as for considering the issue of environmental and climatic changes, their causes, and confronting the possible hazards based on the social responsibility assumed by the university as a higher education institution that is pioneer in environmental sciences and that participated in COP27 in implementation of SDGs and Egypt’s vision 2030.

   Moreover, Prof. Kamal Okasha added that students’ participation in such forums is an opportunity for presenting their innovative ideas. He commended the research projects submitted at the exhibition of the environmental forum. These projects included recycling electronic and organic wastes to benefit from them in industry.
