Publishing a Paper in a Judgment Journal

On March 30, 2011, University Council decided commitment to applying University Council decree of October 31, 2011 which stipulates that a paper must be published in a judgment journal before formation of judgment and discussion committee of master’s and PhD theses at some faculties of the University: faculties of Science, Agriculture, Pharmacy, Nursing (PhD only), Specific Education, Education and Law. This decree applies to students who register master’s or PhD theses starting from April 2011.

• First: the Council assured the necessity of abiding by University Council decree of March 30, 2011 which stipulates that a paper must be published in a judgment journal before formation of judgment and discussion committee of master’s and PhD theses at some faculties of the University. This decree applies to students who have been registered for postgraduate studies after April 2011.

• Second: All faculties of the University must abide by the necessity of publishing at least one paper in a judgment journal before formatting judgment committee of master’s and PhD theses. This applies to students who will enroll in postgraduate studies after modifying the bylaws.
• Third: Faculties of the University modify their internal bylaws to allow applying these decrees provided that the modifications are presented to the coming University Council.
