Huge Breakthrough in International Publication at Tanta University with 715 Internationally Published Papers till April 2021
Prof. Kamal Okasha, Tanta University Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, affirmed that Tanta University has made a great breakthrough in international publication. Till the end of April 2021, 751 papers were published internationally. During the same time in 2020, 495 papers were internationally published.
He indicated that Tanta University under presidency of Prof. Mahmoud Zaki is keen on supporting scientific research, enhancing research policies, following up development of scientific research, and coping with technological advancements.
University Vice President added that the annual increase of research is a good indicator that helped the University with rankings. Therefore, the University was listed in Round University Ranking (RUR) for the first time as one of six participant Egyptian universities. It was ranked 776th internationally and 5th locally. In addition, there are huge leaps in postgraduate programs and the number of postgraduate students as well as the number of publications in scientific journals.
