Faculty of Pharmacy at Tanta University received the children participating in the 6th stage of the program “A Child’s University” held in under the slogan “Scientist Children for a Better Future” in cooperation with the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) under patronage of Prof. Ayman Ashor, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, University President; Prof. Mahmoud Selim, University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Prof. Jina Al-Fiqi, ASRT Acting President, under supervision and coordination of Prof. Mona Al-Aasar, Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy; Prof. Sahar Al-Haggar, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Abdullah Khedr, Head of Chemistry Department at Faculty of Science and General Coordinator of a Child’s University at Tanta University; and Prof. Walaa Negm, Coordinator of “A Child’s University” at Faculty of Pharmacy and Manager of the Training Unit at the faculty.

Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, Tanta University President, affirmed that the university is keen on supporting the activities of a Child’s University as they help to discover talented and outstanding children, to develop their skills of scientific and innovative thinking, and to prepare a new generation able to lead in the future and build the new republic.

Moreover, Prof. Mahmoud Selim added that the university is offering unique scientific content for children by academic staff and scientists in various fields to develop children’s skills of research, learning and communication as children are the future leaders of our beloved Egypt.
