According to the Instructions Given by Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, University President, Council of Community Service Sector Holds a Meeting Chaired by Prof. Mahmoud Selim

    Prof. Mahmoud Selim, University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, chaired today the meeting held by council of the sector in attendance of Prof. Mamdoh Al-Masry, Dean of Faculty of Arts; Prof. Mohamed Ibrahim, Acting Dean of Faculty of Applied Arts; Prof. Nehal Atef, Acting Dean of Faculty of Science; vice deans for community service and environmental development, and undersecretaries of ministries in Gharbia governorate.

   Prof. Mahmoud Selim declared that a presentation was given by Prof. Hagar Alam Al-Din, Executive Manager of Special Economic Centers and Units, about the initiative launched by the sector to enhance students’ innovations and knowledge investment according to the instructions given by Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, University President. In addition, the financial support offered to projects of final year students was reviewed. University Vice President affirmed that there is constructive cooperation with Ministry of Social Solidarity via the Social Solidarity Unit at the university to help all students; hence, great achievements were accomplished in the last months. Moreover, he thanked Manager of the Social Solidarity Unit at the university for her efforts.  

   Furthermore, University Vice President commended the activities of the comprehensive developmental convoys and the national literacy project. He thanked all who participated in these activities. Prof. Mahmoud Selim granted the shield of the sector to Prof. Mamdoh Al-Masry, Dean of Faculty of Arts and Chairman of the Board of the Blind’s Welfare Center, for the efforts he exerted to develop the center and improve the services offered to the disabled students. He granted the shield also to Prof. Hatem Kamal, Undersecretary of Veterinary Medicine Directorate in Gharbia, for his effective participation in the veterinary convoys. In addition, veterinarians who took part in the convoys were given certificates of appreciation.
