IEEE - The student branch of the Society of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Faculty of Engineering

About the Assembly:

It is one of the biggest assemblies on the world level. It was established more than 125 years ago. It has been considered a main reliable resource for all engineering sciences researchers, including more than 370,000 members of engineers different in scientific degrees and interests, as well as 80,000 students. This assembly aims to raise the engineer’s level, develop him or her in all aspects. For more information, you could visit our site via : www.ieee.org

About the Student Branch:
The Branch aims to give engineers, in the period of study, due consideration. It has aimed to develop and prepare them for labor market since it was established. The Branch has already done various activities which target increasing engineers’ awareness, developing their abilities not only by scientific materials or from the technical aspect but also by raising human resources, informing them with the importance of its development and providing them with scientific practical experience. This experience is offered through scientific symposiums, conferences and training presented by the Branch for students all year round, in cooperation with the biggest specialized centers that arrange and determine the scientific materials in a way that is not haphazard. On the contrary, the materials are determined in coordination with the University or Faculty to avoid any harm to student. One of the activities held by the Branch is the midyear training which includes a number of human resources needed by the student before and after graduation. It is worth mentioning that the Branch is making a shared training program to train graduates and undergraduate students in the biggest corporations like Intel, Microsoft and other corporations.
