12639 Comprehensive Medical Care Cards Were Distributed to Employees.
Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, Tanta University President, declared that 12639 comprehensive medical care cards were distributed to employees of Tanta University with a finance from Life Improvement Fund of Governmental Universities’ Personnel. He declared that the card allows employees to make analyses, medical imaging, and physical treatment at the contracted specialized centers. University President added that these services are offered in the context of keenness of the university on presenting quality medical care to all personnel, and achieving social protection for them as high priorities in the national sustainable development strategy and Egypt’s vision 2030.
Moreover, University President declared that the fund allows making analyses, medical imaging, physical treatment, and surgeries for free in the contracted specialized centers with a maximum of 250 thousand pounds. In addition, employees who have the cards can get medicaments with huge discount and pay only 20% of the price with a maximum of 7500 pounds a year. Employees who suffer from chronic diseases pay only 20% of the cost of the medicaments with a maximum of 20000 pounds a year.
